Can I use logos / trademarked images on my design?
  • We are not allowed to print any trademarked or copyrighted images (unless granted written permission from the owner or company).

Can I upload a photo that can be printed as a custom patch?

  • Sorry but at this time our small business does not have the ability to print one off custom patches. However if we feel that the patch request could be a design that we could add to our collection of patches we will create it for a standard patch price. This is due to our patches are made of premium materials and manufactured by one of our partners to assure that we provide you with the highest quality products. (if you would like to have a one off patch that is unique to only YOU, we can make this happen at a fee of $35.00 per patch design.
  • If you purchase and create 5x custom sweatshirts with us, BLK the Label will wave the $35.00 custom patch fee. If we can add the patch in to our stock designs its free. If we cannot add the custom patch design to our stock collection we will need to charge you the $35.00 fee.

Can I choose the patch outline color on my custom designs?

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to offer the option to choose the outline color on our custom patches. All of our patches come with a white outline. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Are patches placed exactly where we put them on the design mockup during the design consultation?

  • We try to put the patches as close as possible to the intended design mockup, however, these are custom made products, so patch placement may not be exact. Additionally we may determine that something may look better to our eye versus the design concept intent.


What if I am thinking about buying a product but would like to see a proof first?
  • We would love to design something custom with you in mind! However, we do not provide proofs without a purchase. BLK the Label cannot begin to work on a custom design with you until you buy a Design Consultation on our website. The $60 upfront will be put towards the cost of your product. Once payment has been processed, BLK the Label will have a designer prepare a proof for you. Please note that this $60 deposit is non refundable. If you have any questions please email us at 

Are the design proofs exact representations of the final product?

  • The design proofs we provide are overall guidelines for patch placement, spelling, correct colors, and elements. While we make every effort to ensure that the final product matches the design proof, slight changes may occur during production to best execute the design.

    At BLK the Label, we use our unique production techniques to create custom, one-of-a-kind pieces. Rest assured, we always strive to create the highest quality product possible and ensure that it meets your expectations.

What if I approved a proof that had a mistake in it?

  • We send out proofs for approval from the customer before we send a custom product into production. BLK the Label is not liable for mistakes with a design if the proof was approved by you, and we will not offer returns/exchanges. Please make sure you fully read our design notes before giving approval!

Will all of the colors used be match my team/organization?

  • Please note that we try our very best to match colors used on your custom design to your desired teams/organizations. However, please keep in mind that BLK the Label is a customization company that uses a variety of materials and printing processes, so specific colors may not reflect the same exact hue or color value. We do our absolute best to find the closest match.

What if I have a large order?

 How do I care for my garment?

  • Because our clothing is handmade, we recommend dry-cleaning your BLK the Label creation. If you prefer to wash at home, place the item inside-out and run on a low/gentle cycle. Leave the garment out to air dry (never place it in the dryer!).

What if I have an issue with my product after it has been received?

  • We want you to love your custom design! Please keep in mind that BLK the Label will only address any issues that are brought to our attention within 7 days of your delivery date.

What if my product has slight imperfections?

  • BLK the Label has always strived to produce items of the highest quality. Our products are completely custom and entirely unique to you, and are made one-by-one as orders are received. Because each design is handmade individually, it is important to note that there may be slight imperfections. Unfortunately, we do not issue refunds for slight imperfections (though we will do our best to work with you to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase and you love your BLK the Label fit!).

What is your return policy?

We have a 7-day return policy on all non customizable items, which means you have. 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. If you purchase a customized item and move into the production phase of the order process then all sales are final. Additionally if you purchase a design consultation with us the $60.00 deposit is non refundable. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
